The group Weekly is leaving IST Entertainment.
On the 26th, IST Entertainment posted on their official social media a message stating, "We are conveying our official position regarding the end of the exclusive contract with Weekly members (Lee Soo-jin, Monday, Park So-eun, Lee Jae-hee, Ji-han, Jo A) and future activities."
The agency noted, "After a long discussion regarding future activities with the members, we have agreed to respect each other's opinions and end the exclusive contract."
They added, "We sincerely thank the members who have shone and accompanied us as affiliated artists, as well as the fans who have been with us on this bright and warm journey. We ask for continued love and encouragement for the Weekly members, who will actively engage in various fields moving forward."
Meanwhile, Weekly debuted in 2020, winning the 'rookie of the year' award six times and gaining popularity for their vibrant yet natural charm and energetic performances.
