As the new MCs for 'The Show,' WayV's Xiaojun, CRAVITY's Hyungjun, and izna's Jung Se-bi will take the stage.
On the 26th, the production team of the global music broadcast SBS M 'The Show' announced new MCs aimed at capturing Generation Z's sensibilities. WayV's Xiaojun, who is solidifying his global presence with an endless upward trend, CRAVITY's Hyungjun, who is capturing K-POP fans' attention with a unique concept, and izna's Jung Se-bi, who is showcasing the qualities of a 'complete rookie' with her high-quality performances, will join forces as MCs.
WayV's Xiaojun, who has been selected as an MC for three consecutive years, including 2023 and 2024, demonstrated his versatility by perfectly fulfilling the role of 'The Show' MC while also participating in WayV's activities. Moreover, he earned the title 'Challenge Master' through various challenges, generating daily buzz across social media and receiving great responses from K-POP fans.
For the second consecutive year, CRAVITY's Hyungjun has been selected as an MC. He is expected to showcase stable and impressive hosting skills, as well as an even more upgraded bright and lively 'human vitamin' moment.
Once again teaming up, Xiaojun and Hyungjun are projected to lead 'The Show' confidently as experienced MCs this year. Viewers will have the chance to enjoy their irreplaceable 'brother chemistry' once again.
Joining as the youngest MC of 'The Show,' Jung Se-bi, the maknae of the fifth-generation girl group izna, is attracting attention with her lovely charm and doll-like visuals. She will add a bubbly Generation Z feel, capturing the eyes and hearts of teenagers.
This year's 'The Show' MC concept will be revealed through a live broadcast on March 4. The concept that the new MCs will present is dubbed 'NFZ,' with all three MCs sharing the commonality of having 'NF' included in their MBTI. It implies a gift of petite N's imagination and fuzzy F's sensibility. They are expected to introduce K-POP artists' stages from an 'NF' perspective, showcasing fresh and diverse chemistry never seen before.
'The Show,' featuring global K-POP stars, will be broadcast live simultaneously on SBS M and SBS funE at 6 p.m. on March 4.
