The first still of EXO's Xiumin, a person of diverse charms who will lead 'Heoshikdang,' has been released.

The new drama 'Heoshikdang' (directed by Oh Hwan-min and Kim Kyung-eun / written by Seong So-hyun) is a fantasy comedy romance drama where the problematic figure Heo Gyun from the Joseon Dynasty crosses into the modern era 400 years later and unwittingly runs a restaurant, based on the web novel of the same name (writer Jeon Seon-young).

In the drama, Xiumin plays the ‘genius’ Heo Gyun, who possesses mysterious writing skills and an outstanding aesthetic sense. Heo Gyun, who never forgets what he has seen, time slips from the Joseon Dynasty to modern times. The first taste columnist of Joseon, Heo Gyun, operates a restaurant with Eun-sil (played by Choo So-jeong) after their accidental meeting following the time slip, unfolding a real survival story to survive in modern society.

The captivating visuals of Xiumin perfectly fitting the Heo Gyun character in the still released today (26th) draws attention. He flawlessly wears both the traditional robe and official attire, showcasing an exceptional hanbok style. Moreover, he can be seen tying an apron and smiling leisurely in front of the restaurant, allowing a glimpse of the Xiumin version of Heo Gyun as he transitions between Joseon and modern times, heightening interest.

In particular, his appearance still wearing a hanbok even after the time slip is intriguing. Amid curiosity about why Heo Gyun time slipped 400 years, Xiumin is expected to delight viewers with a cheerful portrayal of Heo Gyun's adaptation to modern life, a person with a lively personality.

There is high anticipation for what new aspects Xiumin will show through 'Heoshikdang,' as he is expected to capture everyone's hearts with his acting transformation into a timeless new character.

'Heoshikdang' is jointly planned by Hakuhodo DY Music & Pictures and Corpus Japan and is set to be released on March 24 (Monday).
