TWICE's Dahyun expressed gratitude for the support she received from those around her after her acting debut.

On the afternoon of the 26th, TWICE's Dahyun, who debuted as an actress through the film 'The Girl We Liked That Year,' appeared as a guest on SBS Power FM's 'Wendy's Young Street' (hereafter 'Youngs').

'The Girl We Liked That Year,' based on the Taiwanese film of the same name (adapted by director Jo Young-myung, provided by Movie Company Take, produced by Movie Company Take and Jairo Pictures, distributed by WYSIWYG STUDIOS and CJ CGV), tells the story of 18-year-old Jinwoo (played by Jinyoung), who spent countless days confessing his first love to Seona (played by Dahyun).

On that day, when asked what Producer Park Jin-young, head of JYP, said after watching the film, Dahyun replied, "The ending credit shows 'Jin-young Dahyun,' and it's just the two of them on the screen, not other actors. Because Producer Park Jin-young and Senior Jin-young have the same spelling, I was able to immerse myself more in the viewing. He praised me a lot and it really helped me. I'm very thankful."

Wendy asked, "Didn't he give you any acting advice? Since he's a senior in acting," to which Dahyun replied, "He mentioned various things. He said that he was happy that when watching the movie, he didn’t think of TWICE's Dahyun but saw me as Seona. He also said that there might be some clichéd scenes, but I did well without being clichéd, and I felt very proud, for which I am extremely thankful."

Hearing this, Wendy praised, "I think that's the highest compliment since he dislikes clichés when evaluating on audition programs."

Moreover, Dahyun received a flower gift from IU, and her members visited the screening event to congratulate her. She expressed, "It really helped me. IU tried to come but had a schedule. She gave me a huge bouquet. I was so happy that I can't explain it in words. I was very thankful and touched. The handwritten letter was very thoughtful, saying, 'The girl we like now' in a clever way. I thought she was really a wonderful senior, so I'm very grateful. Thank you so much, IU."

Regarding her members, she said, "Didn’t they do a stage greeting? They were sitting at the very back, but suddenly they rushed down during the stage greeting. I was surprised and they handed me a bouquet. Just their presence was already encouraging, but they came down to give me flowers, letters, and even brought a cake. After watching the movie, all the members sent me long messages individually, saying I did very well and that they enjoyed the movie, which was really encouraging. Thank you, members."

Meanwhile, 'The Girl We Liked That Year' is currently showing in theaters nationwide.
