FNC Entertainment (173940) disclosed its consolidated results for 2024 through the electronic disclosure system.
According to FNC on the 26th, the consolidated revenue was 868 million won, a decrease of 5.8% compared to the previous year. However, considering the 20 million won excluded from revenue due to the cessation of the printing business in 2024 and the 173 million won revenue from the 2023 KBS drama "Wedding War," the music business has seen an increase in revenue of 14 billion won compared to the previous year. In terms of operating losses, the performance is improving every year by reducing the loss margin through budget and expense control since 2022. With the strengthened focus on a low-year group lineup centered on singers starting this year, high-margin upside growth potential is expected to be realized in earnest. The recent mini-album "Sad Song" by P1Harmony sold over 360,000 copies, an increase of 100,000 copies compared to the previous work, achieving 16th place on the Billboard 200 chart and being selected as one of the "25 Best K-Pop Albums of 2024," demonstrating P1Harmony's growth trajectory. Building on this momentum, the next album scheduled for release this year is also expected to see a significant increase in sales. Since the second year of their debut, the North American tour has been expanding in scale each year, entering arena-level venues in four cities, including the Kia Forum in Los Angeles last year. This year, they plan to expand the venues for the North American tour to arena-level or higher, aiming to meet more overseas fans. Additionally, FNC is set to launch the new band AxMxP this year and will feature member Ha Yujun in the upcoming FNC-produced drama "Spring of the Four Seasons" before the official debut, introducing him to the public. "Spring of the Four Seasons" is a youth romance drama set against a campus background, scheduled to air on SBS in the first half of this year, receiving high expectations as the next work of director Kim Sung-yong, who directed the drama "Lovers." As it is known to be expected to be the second "Jumping on the Cloud," there has been high interest even before its airing. Notably, at the SBS Acting Awards at the end of last year, the band featured in the drama celebrated, and since then, views of the celebratory stage video and followers of AxMxP's social media account have surged, gaining popularity even before the drama's broadcast. N.Flying, which has been expanding its fandom recently, will be returning as a complete group for the "Awesome Stage" performance in Busan on March 2, as all members who were enlisted have been discharged. They are currently preparing for a comeback and are planning to expand the scale and regions of their performances to celebrate their 10th anniversary this year, expecting to be more active than any other year. The rookie group Ampersand One, which debuted at the end of 2023, is rapidly growing, having completed a North American tour in 19 cities in just one year, with successful stabilization in the global market anticipated, and they plan to further expand their overseas fandom through future activities.
