MBC's 'Radio Star,' which will air on the 26th, is a special episode titled 'Survival People, Bloody Player' featuring Jang Dong-min, Hong Jin-ho, Pani Bottle, and Heo Sung-beom. A pre-released video with the title 'Hong Jin-ho, the production team gets flooded with calls whenever the untranslatable Jin-ho language is broadcast?!' has been released ahead of the show.
In the released video, Yoo Se-yoon asks Hong Jin-ho, 'Is it true that you get flooded with calls from the production team whenever you're on air?' To this, Hong Jin-ho sighs and reveals that he receives calls from the production team due to his 'pronunciation issue (?)'.
In particular, he said he always receives calls after doing talk shows, and the production team sometimes sends specific segments that they didn't understand. He then confessed, 'I also listen and don't understand what I'm saying,' which elicited laughter from everyone.
Hong Jin-ho says, 'Thinking back, when did this pronunciation issue start?' and shares an episode from his past as a professional gamer. He recalls being broadcasted making a statement to his opponent before an important game against Russia's Sergey Player, but his comments were dubbed in Korean. When actual evidence footage was released, all four MCs and guests in the studio burst into laughter. Hong Jin-ho expressed, 'I wasn't trying to be funny...' reflecting on how flustered he was at the time.
Hong Jin-ho also references appearing on the rap battle program 'Hip Hop Nation 2.' When the MCs asked him to show them a rap, Hong Jin-ho, flustered, covered his face with his hands and unleashed 'Jin-ho language'. Pani Bottle humorously testified, 'I was right next to him, but I couldn't understand a thing.'
