Actor Oh Woo-ri is making a strong impression with her outstanding character portrayal in "Good Competition."

Actor Oh Woo-ri stars in the drama "Good Competition" (Planning: STUDIO X+U, Production: YLAB, Directed by: Kim Tae-hee, Written by: Kim Tae-hee, Min Ye-ji), which depicts intense exam competition and mysterious incidents at Chaehwa High School, which is in the top 1% in South Korea.

Within just a day of its release, it broke the records of all previous original productions in terms of view counts, number of viewers, and new viewers on "U+tv" and "U+mobile tv," continuing to achieve box-office success by ranking high in various buzz charts. Additionally, it secured the 1st place in overseas OTT charts in Japan and Taiwan, gaining global popularity.

Oh Woo-ri portrays the character "Choi Kyung," who struggles to escape the perpetual second place behind Jae (played by Lee Hye-ri). While appearing as the model student on the outside, she skillfully expresses the character's duality of inner inferiority complex with outstanding acting ability, drawing enthusiastic reactions from viewers each episode. Moreover, she cleverly utilizes her cards to create tension among the characters and heighten viewer immersion, significantly enhancing the drama's intrigue.

During a previously held press screening, director Kim Tae-hee noted, "Actor Oh Woo-ri received many recommendations from acquaintances. When I met her, she was already wearing wonderfully round glasses, and at that moment when she delivered Kyung's lines, all the production staff exclaimed, 'That's Kyung,' as her synchronization was remarkable." Oh Woo-ri, showcasing her impeccable character portrayal, has met many people's expectations and received acclaim.

Having built her filmography through various roles, Oh Woo-ri has emerged as a next-generation new face after excelling in more than 20 independent and short films, including "Alley Street," "I Feel Like My Heart Will Burst!", "Hell is Forever," and "You and Me." In particular, she played the lead role of "Song Na-mi" in the film "Hell is Forever," where she depicted a character filled with arrogance in appearance but bearing the scars of school violence, earning the honor of winning the Abin Creative Award at the 2023 Muju San-gol Film Festival.

Viewers who recognized Oh Woo-ri's limitless potential reacted passionately after watching "Good Competition," saying, "Her voice tone and diction are perfect," "She stood out in her previous works, and she truly is a reliable actor," and "She is just like Choi Kyung from the webtoon, making it easy to immerse in her character."

Meanwhile, the drama "Good Competition" from STUDIO X+U is released every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday at 12 a.m. on U+tv and U+mobiletv.
