'Let's read a book' has returned as web content.
On the 25th, MBC's YouTube channel '14F' released a teaser video titled "Let's read a book is back with a 2025 special!".
Originally launched in 2001, 'Let's read a book' is a segment from the past MBC variety show 'Exclamation Point.' Broadcasters Kim Yong-man and Yoo Jae-suk served as the two MCs, traveling across the country to encourage reading books, earning the program great affection as a representative of 'kind entertainment.'
During the program, one or two designated books were selected each month, and each selected book became a bestseller, achieving top sales and immense popularity.
Thus, 'Let's read a book,' which ended in November 2003, has returned after 22 years. MC Kim Yong-man appears again, greeting viewers through a video with, "Hello. 'Let's read a book' is here to greet you after a long time."
There is anticipation building as the program will feature special MCs, citizen interviews, and even a book giveaway event.
Meanwhile, 'Let's read a book,' in collaboration with MBC and Kyobo Bookstore, will be released on Feb. 27.
