The drama 'Weak Hero Class 1', featuring Park Ji-hoon, Choi Hyun-wook, and Hong Kyung, will also be available on Netflix.

This strong action growth drama about a weak boy, depicting the journey of top 1% model student Yeon Si-eun as he faces numerous acts of violence together with his friends Su-ho and Beom-seok, will be released worldwide in over 190 countries starting March 25.

'Weak Hero Class 1', based on the webtoon of the same name, features outstanding newcomers like Park Ji-hoon, Choi Hyun-wook, Hong Kyung, Shin Seung-ho, and Lee Yeon, maximizing the genre's thrilling elements. It recorded an impressive 45.5% share of the OTT platform upon its release in 2022, gaining recognition for both its artistic quality and popularity. The story of model student Yeon Si-eun, portrayed by Park Ji-hoon, getting caught up in a whirlwind of violence by chance and fighting against violence inside and outside the school together with Su-ho (Choi Hyun-wook) and Beom-seok (Hong Kyung) has resonated well with audiences, depicting the growth and friendship of the three friends.

Following 'Weak Hero Class 1', 'Weak Hero Class 2', which will arrive on Netflix in the second quarter of this year, will depict the intense survival journey and brilliant growth of Yeon Si-eun, who transfers to Eunjang High School with the trauma of not being able to protect his friend after fighting against violence. To ensure he never loses a friend again, he will face even greater violence. Fresh faces will join the cast, sparking expectations.

Ryeo-woon, Choi Min-young, and Lee Min-jae will play new friends that Yeon Si-eun meets at Eunjang High School. Most notably, Yoo Soo-bin, who played Choi Hyo-man and intensified the tension at the end of 'Weak Hero 1', is also set to appear, raising intrigue.
