The production team of 'I am Solo' has started to reuse the grants again.
The new entertainment program 'Travel of frying and boiling,' which will first air on the 28th on SBS Plus, ENA, and Tving, is a travel reality show prepared again by the 'I am Solo' production team after launching 'Nassolseason.' With the concept of 'Living with love and life by frying, boiling, and simmering,' it hints at a reunion journey of the popular participants who appeared on 'I am Solo.'
As Super Junior's Shindong and actors Kyung Soo-jin and Lee Se-hee take on the role of studio MCs, the first travel protagonists were revealed through a teaser on the 24th. They feature couples who were the final couple in 'I am Solo' and 'Seasonal,' couples who liked each other through unrequited love but unfortunately couldn't be together, and couples who ended up developing feelings after fighting, each with their own unique stories.
The protagonists include Jung-sook and Young-soo from the 10th season, who created catchphrases like 'Lower your voice' during the truth or dare of 'Hand fan flirting' and 'Gopchang stew', as well as Ok-soon from the 9th season with Male contestant No. 4, and Young-sook and Young-soo from the 22nd season. These reunited couples are expected to share various stories while traveling, frying, and boiling at home.
The teaser released on the 24th is already spicy. Young-soo from the 10th season and Jung-sook sparked a discussion when Young-soo remarked, 'I told you not to search it up,' and Young-soo responded, 'If you tell me, I'll go, so what?' Jung-sook fired back again, 'You said it, Oppa!' which eventually led to Young-soo shouting, 'Don't speak like that! Stop it! It's noisy!'
In this way, the production team has chosen an easy path by re-casting high-profile participants like Jung-sook from the 10th season, Ok-soon from the 9th season, and Young-sook from the 22nd season. All of them had appeared in 'I am Solo' and then went on to 'Nassolseason,' where they only returned after gaining attention instead of finding love.
Above all, Jung-sook from the 10th season is known for her unrestrained remarks, Ok-soon from the 9th season has been an issue maker due to conflicts every time she appeared, and Young-sook from the 22nd season boasts about her superior genes, maintaining a 'self-absorbed' character that has drawn high attention.
For Producer Nam Kyoo-hong, it seems to be a strategy to rehash attention-grabbing participants in a self-replicating manner following 'I am Solo' and 'Nassolseason.'
