Actor Lee Ji-hoon is returning to the screen.
Lee Ji-hoon will meet the audience again on the screen with the movie 'APT. for the unemployed' set to be released on the 26th.
Ahead of its release, Lee Ji-hoon revealed his affection for the work during a media preview, raising expectations for a delightful and relatable film.
'APT. for the unemployed,' featuring Lee Ji-hoon in the lead role, is a mystery comedy that depicts the story of a single man named Mirror who wanders the neighborhood seeking justice and investigates the source of the noise echoing through the apartments at 4 a.m.
Lee Ji-hoon plays the role of a divorced lawyer single dad named Du-on, delivering a passionate performance. Du-on, who struggles against injustice in the neighborhood, is the younger brother of Mirror (played by Kyung Soo-jin), who often meddles in his life, showcasing a relatable sibling chemistry that is likely to resonate with audiences.
Especially, the character poster featuring Lee Ji-hoon, previously released, shows Du-on's expression, seemingly exhausted from his sister’s meddling, adding a humorous yet poignant touch, while the line, "Will the world change because my sister does this?" foreshadows Du-on's cold and logical personality, raising anticipation for Lee Ji-hoon’s performance in the film.
The movie 'APT. for the unemployed' addresses the familiar theme of noise between floors, something everyone can relate to, set in an 'APT.' backdrop. Notably, actor Ma Dong-seok participated in the production, adding upbeat energy, along with a talented cast including Kyung Soo-jin, Ko Gyu-pil, Kim Joo-ryung, Choi Yoo-jung, Jung Hee-tae, and Park Jeong-hak.
Making his comeback to the screen in approximately a year, Lee Ji-hoon is set to meet audiences directly during a stage greeting in the first week of release from March 1 to 3.
'APT. for the unemployed' will be available in theaters on the 26th.
