On the 25th, Do Kyung-soo's agency, Company Ssu Ssu, released an announcement through its official account saying, "We would like to inform you about the status of our legal response regarding the malicious posts and comments containing defamatory remarks, disseminating false information, and other illegal activities online against our artist Do Kyung-soo, belonging to Company Ssu Ssu."
Company Ssu Ssu stated, "As announced on Sept. 20, 2024, we have filed a complaint against the authors of the malicious posts and comments mentioned above. As a result of the investigation, a suspect who has continuously disseminated posts containing false information and defamation has been identified, and follow-up measures in accordance with legal procedures are scheduled to take place."
It also mentioned, "We will continue to take strict legal action against other malicious posts in accordance with procedures, and to protect our affiliated artists, we will maintain regular monitoring across all online platforms and take additional legal action against any malicious posts discovered in the future." They emphasized that, "We will respond firmly to the authors of malicious posts without any leniency or compromise, and we appreciate any reports from fans upon discovering malicious posts and comments after this announcement."
They added, "We extend our deep gratitude to the fans for their interest and reports regarding the artists, and we will do our utmost to protect our affiliated artists in the future."
Meanwhile, Do Kyung-soo recently released his first winter season song 'Snowfall at Night' and is actively engaged in various projects, including his appearance in the film 'A Secret That Cannot Be Told,' which was released on the 27th of last month, and the tvN entertainment program 'Beans Sprout in the Pea Plant Is Food,' which concluded on the 6th.
