The rookie girl group ODD YOUTH has been selected as the best newcomer.
The global standard K-pop chart KM (KM Chart) announced on its official YouTube channel on the 24th that "ODD YOUTH won the 'Best Rookie' award in the female institutional sector at the '2024 KM Chart Season Best Winter.'"
'Best Rookie' is awarded to emerging K-pop stars who have demonstrated outstanding performance during the fourth quarter of 2024, and ODD YOUTH secured the honor after defeating strong competitors.
ODD YOUTH said, "First, I sincerely thank the ODDIES and K-pop fans. It is a great honor to win the 'Best Rookie' award for the first time. As this is our first award, we will strive to grow even more. We will repay you all with even better appearances in the future. I sincerely thank you for your love and support."
ODD YOUTH, which debuted in November of last year, is the first girl group from T.O.P Media. Composed of five members—Summer, Maya, Maika, Kani, and Yeeum—the group has attracted attention for their rookie spirit and talent, performing consecutively with their title track 'THAT'S ME' and the album track 'Best Friendz.'
ODD YOUTH successfully wrapped up their surprise comeback activities last month and is currently preparing for a new album.
