Koo Jun-yeob claims he should receive about 10 billion won from Wang Sobi, the ex-husband of the late Seo Hee-won.
On the 24th, according to reports from local media, Wang Sobi owes 250 million Taiwanese dollars (about 10.9 billion won) to the late Seo Hee-won. The debt includes loans secured by dwellings and other loans.
This is supported by revelations from Jin Hyo-ji, who was once a manager for the broadcaster Harisu in the Chinese-speaking region. He noted, "Wang Sobi took out a loan in Seo Hee-won's name to buy a luxury dwelling. Since then, he has not repaid the money."
In relation to this, Taiwanese lawyer Gan Dai-wei appeared on "Jin Jin You Ja" and explained that the heirs are Koo Jun-yeob and the two children, meaning that if Wang Sobi repays the debt, Koo Jun-yeob and Seo Hee-won's two children will each receive one-third.
However, due to Seo Hee-won's death, her biological father Wang Sobi holds parental rights, so there is a possibility that he will manage two-thirds of the 10 billion won.
Meanwhile, Seo Hee-won divorced Chinese businessman Wang Sobi in November 2021 after 10 years of marriage and remarried Koo Jun-yeob in March of the following year. Afterward, Seo Hee-won recently shocked everyone by passing away on the morning of the 2nd due to pneumonia caused by influenza while traveling in Japan with her family.
