Rookie actor Han Chae-rin is taking on her first role in a straight play since her debut through the Genie TV original drama "Riding Life."

Han Chae-rin will play the role of private tutor Yoo So-yeon in "Riding Life," which premieres at 10 p.m. on March 3. In the drama, Yoo So-yeon is a temporary teacher at a prestigious elementary school and is selected by the top-ranked parent in the Daechi-dong academy area to join the fierce "7-year-old exam." It is expected that various aspects shown by Yoo So-yeon, who struggles to survive in the fierce private education war, will add intense tension to the drama.

"Riding Life" is a drama depicting the life of three generations of women as a passionate working mom, Jung Eun-i, turns to her mother, Jia (played by Jo Min-soo), to take riding lessons for her daughter's upcoming "7-year-old exam."

Earlier, Han Chae-rin made her debut in the web drama "Zero Period Is Insider Time" playing the lead role of Min Seol-hee. Despite being her first work, she demonstrated a strong presence with her stable acting and fresh energy, not typical of a rookie.

With her rapid progress as a newcomer appearing in "Riding Life" following the web drama, expectations are high for what kind of performance Han Chae-rin will showcase in this work.

Han Chae-rin's straight play debut, "Riding Life," will be first broadcast on Genie TV, Genie TV mobile, and ENA at 10 p.m. on March 3.
