CJ ENM announced the second artist lineup for 'KCON JAPAN 2025', which will be held from May 9 to 11 at Makuhari Messe in Chiba Prefecture, Japan.
The unique festival KCON, created by global K-POP fans and artists, is enhancing global fans' anticipation by unveiling the second lineup for 'KCON JAPAN 2025.' The artists revealed this time include EVNNE, INI, IS:SUE, izna, QWER, and TWS, totaling six groups. (*Artists are listed in alphabetical order.) TWS and QWER, who both won the 'BEST NEW MALE ARTIST' and 'BEST BAND PERFORMANCE' awards at the '2024 MAMA AWARDS,' respectively, are joined by INI and IS:SUE, who topped the Japanese music charts. Additionally, the talented groups EVNNE and izna, formed through Mnet's global survival programs 'Boys Planet' and 'I-LAND 2: N/a,' are also set to elevate the atmosphere at Makuhari Messe in Chiba Prefecture, Japan.
Recently, △EVNNE is preparing for their first solo concert after achieving impressive results on various real-time charts with their mini album 'HOT MESS,' △INI has surpassed 1 million sales with their sixth single album 'THE FRAME' following seven consecutive half-million sellers since their debut, △IS:SUE, formed by members who became finalists in 'Produce 101 Japan The Girls,' topped the Oricon weekly single chart upon debut, △izna is making a global presence as a K-POP rookie noted by the American Grammys, △QWER is recognized as a representative K-POP girl band, having had all their songs ranking high on major domestic music charts and recording the No. 1 song of 2024 in Korea as selected by YouTube with 'Gomin Jungdok,' and △TWS, who swept rookie awards at various ceremonies last year and recently held their first fan meeting, are anticipated to showcase their performance skills and trendiness in the upcoming March fan meeting in Japan.
'KCON JAPAN 2025,' which previously announced enhancements to its space and program in line with the 'Club Fair' theme, is set to feature artists spanning a wide spectrum of K-POP and provide fans around the world with even more diverse performances and special experiences.
Meanwhile, 'KCON JAPAN 2025' has confirmed appearances by BOYNEXTDOOR, CRAVITY, EVNNE, INI, IS:SUE, izna, JO1, Jo Yu-ri, Kep1er, ME:I, QWER, TAEMIN, TWS, and ZEROBASEONE, and is expected to announce additional artists.
Beginning in 2012 in Irvine, California, CJ ENM's KCON has presented a festival model that encompasses the entire culture centered on music content and has played a pioneering role in the spread of the Korean Wave. The offline cumulative audience number of KCON, which has been held in 14 regions around the world, including Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and the United States, has exceeded 1.99 million.
