Lisa of the group Blackpink will perform at the American Academy Awards as the first K-pop artist ever.

On the 24th (local time), the American Academy announced that Blackpink's Lisa, Doja Cat, and RAY will perform celebratory stages at the 97th Academy Awards.

Lisa is the first K-pop artist to perform at the Academy Awards. Lisa will be joined on stage by rapper Doja Cat, who collaborated on the new song "Born Again," and British artist RAY.

Lisa's new song "Born Again" is a dynamic and energetic pop track, gaining popularity by reaching No. 69 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and No. 13 on the UK Official Singles Chart.

Additionally, at this year's Academy Awards, Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande, who appeared in the musical film "Wicked," will also showcase their performances.

Meanwhile, the "97th Academy Awards" will take place on the 2nd at 7 p.m. at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, Los Angeles, with famous comedian Conan O'Brien as the host.
