The play 'Anna X', featuring singer and actress Kim Do-yeon from Fantagio, is based on the real-life story of Anna Sorokin, a character known in South Korea through the Netflix series 'Inventing Anna'. This work, which depicts a con artist who shook up the New York social scene, premiered in 2021 in the West End.
'Anna X' is a two-person play in which only two actors deliver lines nonstop for 100 minutes. In the play, Kim Do-yeon introduces herself as a wealthy heiress and enters the New York elite society, but actually plays the role of Anna, a fake heiress who garners attention and trust using social media and her charm while engaging in fraudulent activities.
