Lee Soo-ji, known as the 'Jangsanbeom' of the comedy world, has recently transformed into the so-called 'Daechimam,' which parodies a mother from Daechi-dong. While Lee Soo-ji's chilling portrayal has garnered attention, suddenly actress Han Ga-in has found herself in the crossfire of the 'Daechimam' parody.

Recently, Lee Soo-ji uploaded a video titled 'Human Fake Documentary: Child is Good - A Day in the Life of Jamie's Mom, Lee So-dam' on her YouTube channel.

In the released video, Lee Soo-ji transformed into Lee So-dam, a 35-year-old mother from the academy district in Daechi-dong, Gangnam, appearing in luxury padding and bags known colloquially as the 'Gangnam mom school uniform.'

Introducing herself as a mother of a 4-year-old girl, Lee Soo-ji shared moments of her child's riding to the academy (driving the child to the academy, etc.). She sometimes replaced meals with a piece of kimbap while waiting due to having no time to eat and was overly moved to hear from a native teacher that her child had successfully completed potty training.

As of the 25th, about two weeks after the video's release, it has surpassed 6.76 million views, proving its hot interest, while the short film that clipped the original video has also exceeded 2.46 million views.

Public reactions were also heated. Most users commented, 'I am an English kindergarten teacher, and a third of the parents speak like that,' praising Lee Soo-ji's portrayal of 'Daechimam' as resembling a mother commonly seen in the Gangnam area. However, some others remarked, 'The Gangnam moms must feel attacked,' and 'Why do the overly enthusiastic Gangnam moms live like that?' sparking indiscriminate 'mass hatred' towards mothers from the Gangnam area.

The ridicule that blossomed has also sparked attention towards actress Han Ga-in's YouTube video. Previously, in October of last year, Han Ga-in had driven from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. for her children's school commutes and academy studies. Her 14-hour full day riding captured attention, and recently, some users who encountered Lee Soo-ji's 'Daechimam' parody began to criticize Han Ga-in, saying, 'I watched Lee Soo-ji's video.'

Ultimately, a parody video created to bring laughter is now transforming into a heated wave of hatred, and the controversy is spreading. It has been pointed out that the mockery towards Gangnam parents, as well as the criticism directed at Han Ga-in, is somewhat excessive. The arrows of criticism may also become an unnecessary wound to Lee Soo-ji, who created the parody, Han Ga-in, who remained silent, and to parents who are fervently involved in their children’s education.
