Netflix will release the film 'Revelation,' directed by Yeon Sang-ho and starring Ryu Jun-yeol on March 21 (Friday).

The Netflix film 'Revelation' depicts the story of a pastor who believes that punishing the culprit of a missing person case is a revelation from God and a detective assigned to the missing person case who struggles with the spirit of her deceased younger brother, as they each pursue their beliefs. The film 'Revelation,' created by Yeon Sang-ho, who has consistently told new stories, and writer Choi Gyu-seok, throws sharp questions about human instincts and has drawn attention for the involvement of esteemed director Alfonso Cuarón, known for 'Roma' and 'Gravity,' as the executive producer.

The main poster for 'Revelation' features Ryu Jun-yeol as pastor 'Sung Min-chan,' Shin Hyun-bin as detective 'Lee Yeon-hee' who is tormented by the spirit of her deceased younger brother, and Shin Min-jae as ex-convict 'Kwon Yang-rae,' who is suspected as a suspect in the missing person case. The three characters, each gazing in different directions as if searching for something in a rain-soaked forest, evoke curiosity about how their beliefs and choices will collide and shape the story. Moreover, a shadowy figure glimpsed through the trees stirs curiosity and heightens anticipation for the unpredictable narrative to unfold in the film.

The launched teaser trailer for 'Revelation,' released simultaneously, begins with a phone call about a middle school girl who has gone missing from the church where 'Sung Min-chan' serves as a pastor. Ex-convict 'Kwon Yang-rae,' who happened to visit the church, becomes the focus of 'Sung Min-chan,' who believes he has received a revelation regarding the culprit of the missing person case, leading him to start pursuing Kwon. Meanwhile, detective 'Lee Yeon-hee,' who is tormented by the spirit of her deceased younger brother, discovers suspicious circumstances involving 'Sung Min-chan' and 'Kwon Yang-rae' while investigating the missing person case. Lee Yeon-hee's line, "They said they've been waiting for you to save them," raises questions about what happened to her younger brother, who instilled guilt in her.

A chase filled with madness unfolds as the tagline "Madness begins with twisted belief" adds to the tension, thereby intensifying anticipation for 'Revelation.' Director Yeon Sang-ho, who has consistently built his own worldview through new challenges, is expected to deliver a dense psychological portrayal and a fast-paced narrative that traverses genres of crime, mystery, and psychological thriller. Furthermore, the remarkable transformations and powerful ensemble of characters portrayed by Ryu Jun-yeol, Shin Hyun-bin, and Shin Min-jae promise to provide viewers around the world with rich entertainment and immersion.

The robust story created from the collaboration with writer Choi Gyu-seok, following 'Hell,' and the completion of Yeon Sang-ho's film 'Revelation' with executive producer Alfonso Cuarón, will be released worldwide on Netflix on March 21 (Friday).
