The group Hearts2Hearts shared their thoughts on debuting to mark the company's 30th anniversary.
On the afternoon of 24th, the first debut showcase of Hearts2Hearts was held at YES24 Live Hall in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul. With the anticipation rising high alongside the debut of the multi-member girl group produced by SM Entertainment after 18 years since Girls' Generation, Hearts2Hearts will make their debut on this day with their first single 'The Chase.'
This year marks the 30th anniversary of SM Entertainment, making Hearts2Hearts' debut even more special. In particular, they previously appeared in a film commemorating the 30th anniversary before their debut, revealing their faces.
When asked about their determination to debut on the company's 30th anniversary, IAAN said, "I am happy and glad just to debut, but it is an honor to debut as eight members of Hearts2Hearts in such a special year." He added, "Just as many seniors and staff have supported and built the company, we will strive to become SM's 'The Future' with good music."
Additionally, Carmen, a member from Indonesia, shared, "I have loved singing since I was 6 years old. I saw Girls' Generation's 'The Boys' on TV and thought it was so cool that I wanted to follow them. I auditioned, passed, and am honored and grateful to debut."
She added, "My acquaintances, including family and friends, congratulated and supported me. I think my sister is very happy because she loves K-pop so much."
