Actors Park Ji-young and Park Hye-jin have lost their father.

On the 22nd, the father of Park Ji-young and Park Hye-jin passed away at the age of 87.

According to their agency, Brain TPC, Park Ji-young was staying abroad to manage her overseas schedule. However, upon hearing the sad news of her father's passing, she returned home urgently.

Park Ji-young, a Miss Chunhyang pageant contestant in 1989, debuted after being selected as a talent by MBC's 19th recruitment. Since then, she has appeared in major dramas such as "Jang Nok-soo," "Ggokji," and "Land," as well as dramas like "Jealousy Incarnate" and "Hwashin," and films like "Crime City 2" and "Hidden Face." She recently met viewers through KBS 2TV's drama "Ironing Family."

Park Ji-young's sister, Park Hye-jin, joined MBC as a newscaster in 2001. After leaving in 2014, she is currently active as a freelance broadcaster.

The mourning hall for the father of Park Ji-young and Park Hye-jin has been set up in room 3 of Jeonbuk National University Hospital's funeral home. Park Ji-young, Park Hye-jin, their mother, and older brother are welcoming guests. The funeral will be held on the 25th, and the deceased will rest at Jangsu Seongyeong after passing through Jeonju Seunghwa Won.
