Actress Lee Hae-geun shared her changed current situation after severing ties with her mother-in-law.
On the 22nd, the MBN program "Talk Show Dongchimi" featured the theme "Mom, please return my son!" with appearances from actress Lee Hae-geun, Won Jong-rye, Kim Seung-hyun's mother Baek Soo-ah, and dentist Lee Ji-young discussing various topics.
In a previous appearance, actress Lee Hae-geun surprised everyone by revealing that she had cut ties with her mother-in-law.
During this appearance, Choi Eun-kyung cautiously asked, "Has there been any progress in the mother-in-law and daughter-in-law relationship?" Lee Hae-geun explained, "I still need a little more time. This year, we didn’t go to my in-laws for the holidays and instead went on a cozy trip with family."
She then boasted, "I feel calm because there’s no fighting in the world. There’s nothing to upset my heart, and my skin looks radiant, doesn’t it?"
Hearing this, Lee Hae-jeong and Won Jong-rye, representing the mother-in-law camp, showed uncomfortable expressions, while Park Soo-hong joked, "The mother-in-laws next to you are not happy. They are so mother-in-law-ish," drawing laughter.
In response, Lee Hae-geun also reacted by saying, "Why did you sit me so close?"
