The group ILLIT is proving the title of 'super newcomer' at various music awards.

ILLIT (YoonA, MinJu, MoKa, WonHee, IroHa) received the 'D Awards Dreams Silver Label,' awarded to rising stars set to lead K-pop in the future, at the '1st D Awards' held on the 22nd at Korea University Hwajeong Gymnasium in Seoul. They also achieved the remarkable feat of winning three awards at this ceremony, including the main award, the 'D Awards Delight Blue Label,' and the 'D Awards Best Choreography.'

ILLIT expressed their gratitude through a video, saying, "All the awards we received today are thanks to GLLIT (Gllit. fandom name) that has consistently supported and loved us. GLLIT is ILLIT's Delight." They further noted, "We are grateful for everyone who liked and followed ILLIT's choreography last year. We will show you ILLIT's unique music and stages this year, so please look forward to and support us."

ILLIT has won a total of nine trophies at domestic and international music awards, including six newcomer awards. They have also been nominated for the '2024 Billboard Music Awards (BBMAs),' 'MTV EMA 2024 (MTV Europe Music Awards),' '2025 iHeartRadio Music Awards,' and the '22nd Korean Popular Music Awards,' showcasing their distinctive presence as a '5th generation top girl group.'

ILLIT ignited a global 'Magnetic' craze upon their debut in March of last year. With their quirky charm and catchy lyrics, they captured the trend with addictive performances. 'Magnetic' made history as the first K-pop debut song to enter both the American Billboard Hot 100 and the British Official Singles Top 100, proving its popularity. The song swept year-end settlements of accounts on various global charts and platforms, including Billboard, Apple Music, YouTube, and TikTok.

Meanwhile, ILLIT released the theme song 'Almond Chocolate' for the Japanese movie 'I Don’t Like You Just Because of Your Face' on the 14th, receiving a warm response from local fans. The song topped the AWA Music real-time rising chart (from Feb. 14-16) and the Spotify Japan daily rising chart (from Feb. 15-16), entering the upper ranks of the Oricon 'Daily Digital Single Ranking.'
