Singer Rocky reinterpreted Yoon Soo-il's 'Ecstatic Confession' and once again broke the record for the legendary stage of 'Immortal Songs.'

Rocky appeared on KBS2's entertainment program 'Immortal Songs,' which aired from 6:05 p.m. on the 22nd, showcasing a performance that reinterpreted Yoon Soo-il's 'Ecstatic Confession.' The broadcast was themed around the original artist Yoon Soo-il, who gained attention after making a comeback with 'APT.' after 42 years, and Rocky appeared alongside Song Seung-yeon, Gil Goo Bong Goo, Crack Shot, and Jeon Yoo-jin.

Rocky, who boasts a 100% win rate with three wins and no losses on 'Immortal Songs,' recalled achieving the championship in the 2024 King of Kings final, saying, "The landlord grandmother recognized me while watching the broadcast," and noted, "I started attending many events afterward."

Introduced as the 'Performance King' and '100% Win Rate Man,' Rocky confidently stated, "I will maintain my 100% win rate," before starting his stage of 'Ecstatic Confession.' Rocky's reinterpretation of 'Ecstatic Confession,' a track from Yoon Soo-il's fifth album released in 1986, is well-known among the younger generation along with 'APT.' as it has often been sung as a cheering song.

Dressed in a striking red suit, Rocky captured attention with a stunning performance that incorporated twists from the start. His performance elevated the audience's excitement to its peak, blending arrangements that enhanced the original melody and charm while adding further rhythm. He also engaged the crowd, culminating in an energetic, historic performance. Yoon Soo-il couldn't help but admire, saying, "It's very sexy," and ultimately showcased his resilience by defeating Song Seung-yeon.

Rocky made his solo debut in 2023 with his first mini-album 'ROCKYST.' In June of last year, he released his second mini-album 'BLANK,' contributing to the songwriting and composition, proving his capabilities as an all-rounder. Following its release, Rocky captured global fans, topping the iTunes Top Album charts in 10 countries, and expanded his activities with a tour in Central and South America in the second half of the year.
