On the 22nd episode of MBN's 'Sokpuri Show Dongchimi,' culinary researcher Lee Hye-jung brought up stories about her daughter-in-law and son.
That day, Lee Hye-jung confessed her honest feelings while discussing the topic, 'Mother, please return my son.' She said, "If my daughter-in-law says she is returning my son, I think I would look into everything about her. Who is without flaws?" This made everyone laugh.
Lee Hye-jung said, "There are times when my daughter-in-law, who was a stranger, feels like family. During those times, I tend to point out my son's flaws first."
On that day, Lee Hye-jung said, "My husband didn't speak about anything at his in-laws' house," adding, "One day, I had something I couldn't stand. My mother-in-law just threw her shoes around when she returned home. She was just that kind of person because she was impatient."
Lee Hye-jung said, "I told him that keeping the entrance clean brings good fortune, but it hasn't changed. I told my husband that I couldn't stand it anymore and asked him to talk about it."
Lee Hye-jung surprised everyone by saying, "The next day, as my husband was leaving, he said, 'Mom, please put the shoes away properly; he says he can't live like this.'" She shared that she had cried and said this multiple times. Then, her father-in-law mentioned something to her mother-in-law, which caused her mother-in-law to get angry.
Lee Hye-jung said, "I spoke with my mother-in-law and told her that I couldn't live like this, and she told me to leave. At that time, my husband was working in Daegu, so I went there."
Lee Hye-jung said, "From then on, I decided not to talk to my husband about anything," noting, "Now I think I should not have said anything at all."
