Actor Jung Han-yong became emotional as he recalled his first son, who he lost.
On the 22nd, the MBN program 'Sokpu Lee Show Dongchimi' featured actors Lee Hye-geun, Won Jong-rye, and Kim Seung-hyun's mother Baek Soo-a, as well as dentist Lee Ji-young, who discussed the theme 'Mother, please return my son!'.
The preview for next week's episode that aired at the end of the broadcast showed actor Jung Han-yong, North Korean defector businessman Lee Soon-sil, and writer Ryoo Seung-yeon among others.
On that day, writer Ryoo Seung-yeon noted that her son was diagnosed with developmental disabilities when he was 4 years old, saying, 'My son is in the first year of high school, but I still have to help him eat. I also have to take him to the bathroom while he's eating,' she said. Ryoo revealed, 'I can only think of two things all day. He dies alone, or I take him with me. This thought crosses my mind dozens of times a day.'
Meanwhile, actor Jung Han-yong recalled his late first son, saying, 'He had a collapsed lung from birth. I raised him while dragging an oxygen tank. He was too young to overcome it. He passed away around 4 to 5 months old.'
He remembered the painful moments, saying, 'I was rolling under the bed while they were giving electric shocks to my child,' and then added, 'Everyone told me to forget that child,' becoming teary-eyed, which evoked sympathy.
The story of North Korean defector businessman Lee Soon-sil also tugged at the heartstrings. He recounted, 'I crossed the Yalu River carrying my three-year-old child in a bag. As soon as we crossed, we were caught by human traffickers hiding in the reed forest. Three human traffickers were bargaining over my child like selling goods, 5,000 won, 2,000 won, 3,000 won, and I wept.'
Lee Soon-sil said, 'The child grabbed my hand and trembled, saying for the last time, 'Mom, don't go.' I miss him so much, if only that child were here.'
Meanwhile, MBN's 'Sokpu Lee Show Dongchimi' airs every Saturday at 11 p.m.
