Actor Shin Jeong-yoon received a medium grade evaluation from a matchmaking company.
On the broadcast of MBC Every1 and MBN's 'I've Grown Up But I'm Not Going Out' aired on the 22nd, actor Shin Jeong-yoon received a medium grade from a matchmaking company.
Earlier that day, Shin Jeong-yoon visited the matchmaking company to discuss marriage in earnest. Shin Jeong-yoon candidly noted that last year's salary was 150 million won, but revenue as an actor is not stable. Shin Jeong-yoon stated that he owns two cars and has 40 million won in cash. The representative noted that the average assets for those in their 40s is 800 million won, and said Shin Jeong-yoon is currently at a medium grade, surprising those around.
After visiting the matchmaking company, Shin Jeong-yoon talked with his mother. Shin Jeong-yoon said about his grade, "It's the very bottom," and his mother became serious, saying, "You won't be able to marry," expressing her concern.
Shin Jeong-yoon said, "Overall, it's a medium grade." To this, his mother replied, "If it's medium, that's fine." Shin Jeong-yoon explained, "Since you are alone, your lack of a job and the issue of supporting you are negative factors."
In response, his mother said, "I can work," igniting her determination. Seeing this, Hong Jin-kyung remarked, "Isn't it okay to live happily like that without getting married? There's no guarantee that getting married will make you happy."
Shin Jeong-yoon shared, "Honestly, I didn't think my father would leave so suddenly. Now, my mother could also suddenly leave us, right? So, I thought I should spend more time with my mother," explaining the reason he chose to live as a 'Kangaroo family.'
Shin Jeong-yoon said, "After my father passed away, I thought about my mother's life. I wondered how lonely my mother might feel. It still feels like an unresolved task and a part I need to think about." His mother then worriedly said, "Why did your father leave such a burden on you?"
Hong Jin-kyung said, "When a child starts a new family, the mother loses her family." Haha also lamented, saying, "The perspective of the matchmaking company is so different from how we see it."
Shin Jeong-yoon said, "I thought it would be faster if my mother went to the matchmaking company with me," joking about his mother's remarriage, which made everyone burst into laughter.
