Singer WONHO has heated up the United States.
The agency, Highline Entertainment, released behind-the-scenes footage of the '2024 WONHO USA FAN MEETUP 'WELCOME BACK, WENEE'' on its official YouTube channel on 22nd at 8 p.m.
WONHO held his first fan meetup tour in December last year in six cities: Houston, Chicago, New York, Seattle, San Francisco, and Los Angeles, where he met with local fans. The released video captured various behind-the-scenes moments from the rehearsals in Houston, Chicago, and New York, backstage, and on stage, generating a passionate response from global fans.
On the rehearsal stage, WONHO meticulously checked everything from sound to choreography, preparing to meet local fans. He practiced his songs including 'Open Mind', 'Lose', 'Ain't About You', and 'WENEED', along with dance challenge songs like Karina's 'UP', Taemin's 'Guilty', and Kiss of Life's 'Sticky' with the dancers.
Before the concert began, WONHO was seen warmly greeting the WENEE (WONHO's official fan club) waiting backstage. He took selfies with fans while holding up his phone and showcased cute gestures, providing exceptional fan service that delighted them.
As the main performance started, WONHO captivated fans with a rich setlist reminiscent of a concert, along with his trademark powerful live singing and mesmerizing performances. Despite the language difference, local fans enjoyed WONHO's passionate concert, singing along perfectly and cheering enthusiastically.
At the end of the performance, WONHO boldly revealed his toned abs in response to fervent requests from fans. Spotting a fan in the audience shedding tears, he, feeling emotional, wiped his own eyes and concluded the performance, capturing each fan's face in his gaze as he said, "Thank you."
