As soon as Seo Gang-joon infiltrated 'Undercover High School,' he was in danger of being discovered.
The first episode of the new MBC Friday-Saturday drama 'Undercover High School,' which aired on the 21st, depicted Jung Hae-seong infiltrating a hospital as a student.
That day, Jung Hae-seong received instructions from Team Leader Ahn (played by Jeon Bae-su) that stated, "A support team has arrived on site, so they will follow shortly. So you just need to track them," but he personally intervened, saying, "There's no time for that. If I go any further here, I'll get to the busy area. I need to catch them before that." Thus, Jung Hae-seong began to subdue the Chinese broker and CEO Park along with his teammate Koh Young (played by Jo Bok-rae). When CEO Park ran away with cultural assets, Jung Hae-seong engaged in a chase and successfully protected the cultural assets amid the flames.
However, shortly after, the cultural assets were damaged by a bullet shot by Jung Hae-seong. He exclaimed, "Who the hell put a gun here?" only to realize he was the one who did it, leaving him speechless.
In the end, after causing a major incident, Jung Hae-seong received orders to infiltrate a high school as a disguise. Team Leader Ahn instructed him, "Find the gold bullion hidden by the national traitor Seo Byeong-mun. The operation name is 'Undercover High School,'" directing him to retrieve gold bullion worth 800 billion won that Seo Byeong-mun (played by Kim Ui-sung) had embezzled.
Jung Hae-seong protested, "Are you insane? This is ridiculous. How am I supposed to go to school?" but Team Leader Ahn jokingly replied, "You look very young. They say you aged after taking health supplements when you were little."
Jung Hae-seong pondered alone while drinking. This was because he had been a victim of school violence during his high school years, and the teacher had turned a blind eye to it. However, upon hearing that the team was disbanding, Jung Hae-seong accepted the mission to infiltrate the high school.
Meanwhile, Oh Soo-ah (played by Jin Gi-joo) fell for Jung Hae-seong at the bar run by her mother, exclaiming, "He's really good-looking." Furthermore, when Jung Hae-seong protected her and her mother from a group of bullies, she said, "Mom, my heart is racing."
Afterward, Jung Hae-seong enrolled in the hospital school but reunited with Oh Soo-ah as her homeroom teacher. In response, Oh Soo-ah angrily said, "Are you crazy? How did you get past the identity check? I'm supposed to be the new student, so be careful. If you get caught again, it's straight to the counseling office."
Jung Hae-seong replied, "Hearing that is just absurd. You didn't do anything right either. So, neither did you. Didn't you fight with me? You were incredibly ruthless back then, hitting me with a steel tray," and followed up by saying, "I was trying to save you." To this, Jung Hae-seong responded, "I never asked you to save me. I admit my mistake. Let's both acknowledge our faults and move past this nicely, since it's the first day of transferring schools."
As Oh Soo-ah gasped in shock at the fact that she had fallen for Jung Hae-seong while saying, "Are you crazy?", Jung Hae-seong began to thoroughly investigate every corner of the school. He then received a hint about an unused old building from a student.
That night, convinced that gold bullion was hidden in the old building, Jung Hae-seong stealthily infiltrated and discovered a suspicious spot beneath the stairs. Just as he was about to go down the stairs, someone suddenly aimed a gun at him, raising curiosity about the plot's development.
