Comedian Shim Hyun-seop conveyed his feelings after confirming the wedding date.
On the 22nd, Shim Hyun-seop said in a currency with OSEN, "It is correct that the wedding will be held on April 20th at a location in Seoul."
Shim Hyun-seop drew attention by publicly sharing his love story with Jung Young-rim, who is 11 years younger and began dating in March after meeting through acquaintances on TV Chosun's "Lovers in Joseon" since July of last year. He later depicted the moment he sought permission to marry.
Later, in a currency with OSEN, he said, "The wedding date had not been specifically set, but I planned to hold it in the spring," and he confirmed the wedding date for April.
Therefore, Shim Hyun-seop said, "I am glad the venue has not been disclosed," adding, "When I look at the comments on YouTube or broadcast programs, there are many who want to congratulate, but I worry that those who do not know might come and leave without eating, even though I have set the guest capacity to accommodate up to a thousand people." He opened up about his feelings as a 'father.'
Regarding the current wedding preparation process, he jokingly said, "Actually, I haven't been busy so far, but now (with the news out) it seems I will be."
Additionally, he noted, "There is also footage I filmed through 'Lovers in Joseon'," urging viewers to watch the wedding preparation process through the broadcast.
