On the 21st, Kim Poong revealed on his SNS, "The drama 'History of the Loser' is finally! Ultimately! At last! being released. See you on Wavve and Watcha," along with a poster of 'History of the Loser.'
On that day, Wavve and Watcha officially released the teaser video through their official SNS. In the video, Jo Byung-kyu meets his 'first love' Seolha (played by Bang Min-ah) and falls in love, while also depicting the first meeting between Jung Jae-gwang and Hwang Bo-reum-byeol.
'History of the Loser' depicts the growth of four friends (Jo Byung-kyu, Ryu Un, Jung Jae-gwang, Jung Yong-joo) who met as college classmates 25 years ago, through love and separation in a youth comedy.
It is a piece written by Kim Poong, who also wrote the script. The production company cast Jo Byung-kyu, who had allegations of school violence at that time, and after completing all filming in August 2022, it awaited scheduling. However, it remained in limbo for over two years without being scheduled. Furthermore, another lead actor, Song Ha-yoon, was embroiled in school violence allegations last April, further delaying the scheduling.
As the ongoing allegations of 'school violence' against lead actors impacted the scheduling, the original author Kim Poong drew attention by posting on his SNS, "I'm going crazy hahahahaha."
