In 'Undercover High School,' Jin Gi-joo reunites with Seo Kang-joon, whom she fell in love with at first sight.
In the new MBC Friday-Saturday drama 'Undercover High School,' which premiered on 21st, a scene was depicted where Jung Hae-sung (played by Seo Kang-joon) reunites with his homeroom teacher Oh Soo-a (played by Jin Gi-joo) while infiltrating Byeongmun High School as a student.
That day, Team Leader Ahn (played by Jeon Bae-soo) told Jung Hae-sung, who was undercover at the black market scene, 'The support team has arrived at the scene, so they will soon catch up. So you just track.' However, Jung Hae-sung replied, 'There's no time for that. If I go any further, it'll be downtown, and I have to catch them before then,' and he ambushed the transaction site.
Jung Hae-sung, who had been lying in wait at the transaction site with Koh Young-hoon (played by Jo Bok-rae), overpowered the Chinese broker and President Park, protecting the cultural heritage amidst several crises. However, the cultural heritage was ultimately damaged because Jung Hae-sung's warning shot at President Park ricocheted and hit it.
Unaware of this, Jung Hae-sung exclaimed, 'Which bastard put a gun here?' but then realized it was himself and was horrified. In the end, Jung Hae-sung found himself in a position of potentially getting dismissed from the National Intelligence Service.
Then, Team Leader Ahn instructed, 'Find the gold bullion hidden by the national traitor Seo Byeong-mun. The operation name is 'Undercover High School.' He ordered them to retrieve gold bullion worth 800 billion won that Seo Byeong-mun (played by Kim Ui-sung) had embezzled. Jung Hae-sung protested, 'Are you crazy? This is nonsense. How am I supposed to go to school?' but Team Leader Ahn pushed back, saying, 'You look very young; they say you aged because you took herbal medicine when you were younger.'
After finishing a team dinner, Jung Hae-sung pondered alone. He realized that if he didn't carry out the undercover mission at Byeongmun High School, the team could be at risk of disbandment. At that moment, Oh Soo-a, the part-time teacher at Byeongmun High School and daughter of the restaurant owner, returned from the dinner and showed signs of falling in love at first sight with Jung Hae-sung, who was drinking alone.
Meanwhile, Oh Soo-a stood up to a group of bullies who were threatening her with false accusations against her mother. Just as the bullies were about to hit Oh Soo-a, Jung Hae-sung stepped in and saved her. As he coolly walked away, Oh Soo-a couldn't take her eyes off him, saying, 'Mom, my heart is racing.'
A few days later, Jung Hae-sung entered Byeongmun High School and reunites with his homeroom teacher, Oh Soo-a. Oh Soo-a, realizing this late, yanked Jung Hae-sung's hair and scolded him, saying, 'Come here. What were you thinking? How did you get past the ID check? I'm pretending to be calm about you being a transfer student, but be careful. If you get caught again, it's straight to the counseling office.'
In response, Jung Hae-sung said, 'You know, it's ridiculous. You haven't done anything great either. So you haven't done anything right either. Didn't we fight together? Back then, you laid into me without mercy, didn't you? With a metal tray.' When the flustered Oh Soo-a rebutted, 'I did that to save you,' Jung Hae-sung responded, 'I never asked to be saved. I admit my wrongs. Teacher, you should acknowledge that too, and let's keep things nice and friendly. It's the first day of transfer.' Then he left jokingly.
Later, Oh Soo-a recounted her memories with Jung Hae-sung to her fellow teachers and recalled the moment she had a crush, shouting, 'What a crazy woman.' She then added, 'Just try to catch me off guard. I won't let it go easily.'
