Singer and actress Son Dam-bi candidly shared her thoughts on the changes in her life and relationships after marriage.
On the 19th, a video titled 'Light and Shadow, When Camellia Blooms, Son Dam-bi's Acting Life' was released on the YouTube channel 'DambiSon DambiXon.'
In the released video, Son Dam-bi said, "Even when I was doing 'I Live Alone,' I was single. I thought I was happy living alone and had a strong personal disposition," adding, "But there's one thing. Love doesn't come easily. Even if it does come, there are cases where I can't recognize it. When my mental health is weak and depleted, even if a good person comes, I can't see it," conveying her thoughts on marriage.
Son Dam-bi noted, "My brother is really a person with a proper mind and strong mental health. But I used to like darkness and had a weird disease like an artist. I was quite immersed in that for a while, so I liked men from that side," adding, "However, after getting married, I've realized that I like healthy people. I didn't expect my life to turn out this way," expressing her satisfaction.
She continued, "I have become ready. I am also prepared as a mother. Even during my last variety show, I did it with my mother, but the reason I said I couldn't have a baby is that I have my wounds and trauma. I lacked confidence. I gained confidence after meeting my brother," expressing her affection as well.
She also mentioned, "In fact, from a certain perspective, I should be the most unhappy right now since I'm not working much. But that thought has completely changed. The biggest changes have been in my relationships and my personality."
She added, "I really worry a lot and am timid. But I think I've changed a lot since getting married. These days, while taking a break, I've realized that I shouldn't rush and that I should wait for the right time. Life is truly unpredictable, but I think it's good to anticipate a good life."
Meanwhile, Son Dam-bi was previously embroiled in rumors of cutting ties after her wedding to Lee Gyu-hyuk, as close fellow entertainers were absent from the ceremony. At that time, Son Dam-bi dismissed the rumors, but later, in a video on her personal channel, she indirectly acknowledged the rumors by putting clothes she bought with Jung Ryeo-won up for sale at a flea market.
