'My precious child' caught attention as Geumjok expressed harsh words toward his father.

On the broadcast of Channel A's 'Recently Parenting - My Precious Child' on the 21st, the story of Geumjok, a prospective third grader who even refuses to wear underwear, was revealed.

On that day, Geumjok was shown refusing to wear clothes, including underwear. Regarding this, the mother said, 'If he can't even wear underwear, it's severe. It is a problem that must be addressed. It seems like I should check what environmental changes have occurred since it became serious about 4 to 5 months ago.'

Meanwhile, Geumjok was also caught ordering his mother under the pretext that his clothes were tight. He even controlled her to an extreme. The mother did not speak and fulfilled all of Geumjok's demands, even accommodating unreasonable requests, which caught attention. Dr. Oh Eun-young analyzed this, suggesting it seemed like a symptom of separation anxiety. He explained, 'To put it negatively, he is manipulating his mother. If the other party is not controlled as he wants, he becomes anxious. He fears that if his requests are not met, his mother might abandon him.'

On the other hand, he told his father to 'get lost,' calling him a 'kidnapper,' shocking everyone. While the mother was briefly out, Geumjok directed harsh words at his approaching father, saying, 'Go away. I'm going to report you. Stop it, kidnapper.' He added, 'I hate you the most now.' However, the father responded calmly to the 'kidnapper' comment, saying, 'I've heard it so many times,' while the mother seemed so surprised she couldn't speak.

Dr. Oh Eun-young then noted that he found something strange in a sentence completion test, where Geumjok referred to 'what makes me sad?' as 'a friend calling me by a different last name.' He asked, 'Does Geumjok know that his father's last name and his name's last name are different? The puzzle fits together. I understand now why he feels this way. How did he introduce his new father at first?'

The mother revealed that she had not explained it yet, thinking Geumjok was too young. She said, 'He just seamlessly became his father when he was 4 years old. I introduced him as the father who returned after going abroad.' Additionally, the mother mentioned that she told Geumjok about having a twin brother without prior explanation.

Dr. Oh Eun-young stated, 'None of this process was communicated to the child. He knew nothing when he was young. However, as he approached elementary school, things that hadn't been noticeable before started to become clear and he began to understand. Even if explanations weren't given, there are things he would notice. The last names of my father and I are different? It could have been confusing. In confusion, he might feel, 'Is my father my biological one? Is that right?'

'Then, the mother mentioned that he has a twin brother. At that point, Geumjok might wonder, 'Where is my brother? Who is taking care of him? If mom is not taking care of him, was he abandoned?' This is where it starts to become horrifying. He might also think, 'What if I am abandoned as well?' If he is a very intelligent child, he might wonder, 'Could I have been kidnapped?' I think the label of 'kidnapper' placed on his father brings forth unresolved doubts and conflicts. How confusing and anxious must he feel?'

Ultimately, Geumjok's issues arose from his fear of being abandoned by his mother due to the confusion concerning his birth secret and identity. Dr. Oh Eun-young emphasized, 'You need to talk to him. It will significantly bring order to his thoughts. He will regain his sense of stability.'
