According to the Korea Music Copyright Association's website 'Trusteeship Cancellations' on the 20th, Rosé applied for the termination of her trusteeship on Oct. 31 last year and completed the contract on Jan. 31 after a three-month grace period.

In the case of domestic artists, over 50,000 artists are currently registered with the Korea Music Copyright Association for copyright management.

Rosé is focusing on her overseas activities as her song 'APT.' released with pop star Bruno Mars in October last year gained worldwide popularity.

Rosé is reportedly considering it more efficient to manage her copyrights in the United States. This is because there was an issue of having to pay commissions twice if copyright management was entrusted to both domestic and foreign organizations.

The management of Rosé's copyrights will be handled by a U.S. publisher. Rosé signed a contract with Atlantic Records (a label under Warner Music Group), which collaborates with the American music copyright association, in September last year.

It has been 22 years since a domestic singer withdrew from the music copyright association, since Seo Taiji. Seo Taiji also withdrew from the Korea Music Copyright Association in 2002 after the association approved an album by an artist who parodied his song 'Come Back Home,' leading him to terminate his trusteeship.
