Actress Son Na-eun, a former member of the group Apink, revealed that she has been threatened due to a mobile phone hacking incident.
On the 13th, Son Na-eun's agency YG Entertainment said, "Recently, an incident occurred in which actress Son Na-eun's personal mobile phone was hacked," and added, "The hacker demanded money under the condition of not disclosing the illegally obtained data."
YG Entertainment further noted, "Son Na-eun did respond once to avoid causing harm to her family and acquaintances," and added, "The hacker has not stopped there and is continuing to threaten her by demanding additional money."
According to YG Entertainment, the police have launched an official investigation. The company emphasized that it would take strong legal action against any criminal acts related to invasion of privacy and threats.
Meanwhile, Son Na-eun debuted in the entertainment industry in 2011 with the group Apink. Noticed as a visual member, Son Na-eun has been focusing on acting since leaving the team in 2022. Recently, she made a special appearance in JTBC's 'Oksibuin Jeon,' drawing attention in the early part of the drama.
