It has been reported that Lee Jae-hoon of the group Cool has been spotted performing snow removal work around his neighborhood amid heavy snowfall in Jeju.
An individual named A from Jeju posted on their social networking service (SNS) on the 8th, stating, "Singer Lee Jae-hoon’s volunteer activity," along with a video showing a man believed to be Lee Jae-hoon clearing snow while driving a special vehicle.
In the post, A praised him, saying, "Whenever it snows, he clears the snow throughout the neighborhood day or night without distinction," and called him "a consistently grateful celebrity for several years."
Another netizen who saw this remarked, "He had a schedule in Seoul yesterday, but he cleared the snow in the early morning before going. That’s really amazing."
Lee Jae-hoon’s voluntary snow removal work is reported to have continued for several years. A post on the Jeju website ‘We praise you’ in 2022 also mentioned that Lee Jae-hoon cleared the snow while driving a snow removal vehicle.
The author stated, "In a small village in Aewol-eup, Jeju, there are many outsiders, and nobody clears the snow except for one person who does," adding, "Lee Jae-hoon’s small snow removal vehicle has opened up roads even during this heavy snowfall."
Meanwhile, Lee Jae-hoon, who debuted as a member of the mixed group Cool in 1994, is reported to have been residing in Jeju since 2013. In 2020, he garnered attention when news of his late marriage and the birth of two children became public.
