Former SBS announcer Bae Seong-jae is marrying a junior announcer 14 years younger.
According to the entertainment industry on the 7th, Bae Seong-jae's agency, SM C&C, stated, "Announcer Bae Seong-jae will marry Kim Da-young, an SBS announcer, this coming May."
SM C&C continued, "After two years of dating, they recently promised to become partners," adding, "The couple plans to skip all formalities and instead hold a family meal for the ceremony."
Bae Seong-jae was selected as a public announcement announcer at SBS in 2006. He worked primarily as a sports caster in news, radio, and other formats before leaving in 2021.
Kim Da-young joined SBS as a career announcer in 2021. She has appeared as a weekday anchor for sports news on 'SBS 8 News' and in the SBS entertainment program 'She's On Fire.'
Bae Seong-jae and Kim Da-young reportedly met through 'She's On Fire.' Bae is 46 years old, while Kim, at 32, is 14 years younger.
