KBS1 remembers singer Song Dae-kwan, who suddenly passed away due to a heart attack.
According to the broadcasting industry on the 7th, KBS1 has decided to air the late Song Dae-kwan's final performances on the episodes featuring Dangjin City and Yeongdeungpo District on the 16th and next month on the 2nd, respectively.
Song Dae-kwan performed as a guest singer in the episodes recorded last October in Dangjin City and Yeongdeungpo District. These performances are known to be the late singer's final stage.
Song Dae-kwan visited Seoul National University Hospital's emergency room for treatment due to a decline in health on the 6th. He passed away the following morning from a heart attack at the age of 79.
The late singer debuted in 1967 with 'Kind Uncle' and rose to fame in 1975 with the hit 'Day of Dawn.' He was also known as one of the 'Four Kings of Trot' alongside Tae Jin-ah, Hyun-chul, and Seol Woon-do.
Meanwhile, KBS2 will also air a tribute video for Song Dae-kwan on the 8th.
