Actress Han Ga-in visited a plastic surgeon and received a consultation result that the surgical expense alone would cost between 25 million won and 35 million won.
On the 15th, a video of Han Ga-in visiting a plastic surgeon was posted on her YouTube channel. When asked, "Have you ever had a plastic surgery consultation?" Han Ga-in replied, "Except for the time I took my nephew who broke his nose for reconstructive surgery, this is my first time at a plastic surgeon."
Han Ga-in expressed her curiosity, saying, "I wonder if there will be opinions that fixing this area will make me look prettier on screen," adding, "I receive a lot of criticism that I can't capture my real self on screen. Why is the appearance on screen not working for me?" She then made reservations at three plastic surgery clinics in Gangnam.
She continued, "My jaw and cheekbones are a bit prominent, and I don't have much cheek fat," and added, "I'm curious if that's why my appearance doesn't work on screen. I hope to hear your thoughts on that."
At the first plastic surgeon she visited, the specialist said, "There is nothing to fix on Han Ga-in, but if her skin has sagged compared to the past, it could result in double eyelids or sunken eyes," and suggested, "It would be good to slightly enhance the double eyelid line. I also recommend repositioning the fat above the eyes."
Han Ga-in said, "I didn't want to touch my face because I didn't want to change the feeling I have," and inquired about the expense, asking, "How much does it cost?" The clinic suggested an expense in the mid 2 million won to mid 3 million won range. The clinic stated, "You really have no other places to go. If your eyes are not uncomfortable right now, there is no need for surgery anyway."
At the second plastic surgeon, the doctor praised Han Ga-in, saying, "You look prettier in person," to which she replied, "The screen has to look prettier. I can't prove my real self to everyone."
The consultant worried, saying, "Won't I receive hate comments for pointing out Han Ga-in's face?" but noted, "When I heard you wanted a consultation, I immediately thought of just one area to point out," referring to her facial contour. The doctor said, "Looking just at your eyes and nose, I have seen countless celebrities, but it's very rare to find someone as pretty as you. You are one of the best beauties among celebrities," but advised, "Since your cheekbones, square jaw, and buccal fat are not present, if you lose weight, your face might look skeletal. It would be best to grind down the outer bones to reduce volume and cut the jaw to create a V-line."
In addition, showing a 3D image of Han Ga-in's face, the doctor said, "Your nose is ideal but slightly asymmetric," adding, "We can grind down and organize the inner bone, and the position between your nostrils can be adjusted." Regarding the expense, he explained, "Just for facial contouring, it exceeds 10 million won, and with double eyelid surgery, eyelid correction, repositioning the fat above the eyes, correcting nostril asymmetry, and narrowing the nose tip, it would cost between 25 million won and 35 million won."
Han Ga-in commented, "Isn't it the price of a car for my face?" but noted, "If the complexes showing on screen can be solved, it would greatly entice me." After the consultation, she said, "My self-esteem is dropping," adding, "Since they're saying a car's worth of expense should go into my face, what should I do about this?"
At the third clinic, she was advised to have a forehead lift, hairline adjustment, fat repositioning for sunken cheeks, and the expense was estimated at around 16 million won. However, the doctor noted, "There's no need to do it now," stating, "It's a rare and beautiful nose even in Korea, and it can be done when you can't bear the parts that need covering." Later, Han Ga-in expressed, "I believe that natural beauty is beautiful," and said, "I want to show my healthy and natural aging process," ultimately deciding to forgo plastic surgery.
