Actress Ku Hye-sun appeared on MBC's 'Radio Star' wearing a hat and stated her position that "the hat is my freedom" amid controversy.
On the 15th at MBC's 'Radio Star,' the MC, Jang Do-yeon, asked Ku Hye-sun, "I heard you prepared something firmly for the filming of 'Las.'" Ku Hye-sun replied, "I brought a lot of oil paper."
He, who has skin that tends to break out with acne, explained, "If I don't have oil paper, all my makeup comes off. I use more than 10 sheets a day."
MC Kim Gu-ra praised Ku Hye-sun's clear skin, saying, "It's taut due to the oil. People with a lot of oil don't have wrinkles." Kim Gu-ra then asked, "Isn't it better to slick back the side hair when a lot of oil comes out?"
On that day, Ku Hye-sun appeared on MBC's 'Radio Star' wearing a fur hat and letting her long hair hang on the side of her face. Ku Hye-sun explained, "I was preparing to wash up today, but the boiler broke. So, I couldn't wash my hair. That's why I wore a hat."
She added, "The producer said it would be nice if I took off the hat for the recording, but I am in a situation where I cannot take off the hat right now." In this regard, some netizens pointed out that Ku Hye-sun's attitude toward the broadcast was not serious.
In response, Ku Hye-sun stated on her Instagram on the 16th, "The hat is my freedom" and left a post titled "Hat collection." She shared several photos wearing hats in her daily life.
Ku Hye-sun also posted on Instagram, "Wearing a fur hat due to personal circumstances on a variety show that is not a place where decorum is required, which gives laughter, is not an act of bad attitude or disrespect, but my freedom," later adding, "However, I am very grateful for such criticisms," before deleting the post.
