Director Bong Joon-ho's new film "Mickey 17" will have its world premiere in South Korea on the 28th of next month.
The film will be released in other countries, including North America, after March 7. Director Bong has noted that he wants to present the film to Korean audiences first.
The movie tells the story of expendables involved in dangerous tasks. While Mickey, who can be printed again after dying, experiences the crisis of his 17th death, an unpredictable story unfolds when "Mickey 18" is printed under the assumption that he is dead.
The role of Mickey is played by actor Robert Pattinson. With two extreme sides resembling a dual role, reactions to his acting transformation and performance have been enthusiastic since the trailer's release. Pattinson is scheduled to visit South Korea on the 20th. He plans to meet with the Korean media after a "Mickey 17" footage screening with Director Bong and hold a stage greeting with fans.
