Actress Song Hye-kyo shared her thoughts on the rumors surrounding her.
On the 8th, Song Hye-kyo appeared as a guest on the tvN entertainment program 'You Quiz on the Block.' That day, Song Hye-kyo revealed the hardships she faced while starting her career in the entertainment industry at the age of 18. She said, 'As I have been working for a long time, I didn’t know it well, but now that I hear stories from here and there, there are really a lot of rumors.'
She continued, 'There are times when people ask me about those rumors, and then I say, ‘I’ve also heard that story. Go ask the person who made that rumor.'” When Yoo Jae-suk agreed, saying, 'You should tell them to ask the person who made it,' Song Hye-kyo said, 'I’ve been criticized a lot, so I’m okay now. But when it’s about my family, it tears my heart a little.'
In an interview with the production team, Song Hye-kyo stated, 'Since I’ve been active from a very young age, there have been many small and big rumors. Because of my profession, I’ve often just let them in one ear and out the other.' He added, 'Sometimes, there were things like, 'Isn't this a bit too much?' But when someone asked, 'I heard this story, can I ask?’ I said, 'If I know, I’d like to answer. But I think the quickest way would be to ask the person who made the rumor.'
Song Hye-kyo, who was troubled by various rumors, revealed that she overcame it through practice. He recalled, 'I was in frequent contact with teacher Noh Hee-kyung at the time, and she said, 'You have to learn to love yourself first to give more love to the people around you.' I didn’t even know how to do that.'
Song Hye-kyo said, 'At that time, the teacher said, 'Let’s do morning and evening practices,' so I would wake up in the morning and write about how I would spend the day and what kind of life I would lead, and before going to bed, I would write down 10 things I was thankful for every day for five years.' He mentioned, 'I finished that last year. I always thought about big gratitude, but once I started to appreciate the small things, there were so many.'
