Rosé of the K-pop group BLACKPINK collaborated with pop star Bruno Mars on the hit song "Apartment" (APT.), which recorded its highest position at No. 5 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 chart.
According to Billboard on the 6th (local time), "Apartment" was listed at No. 5, climbing 29 spots from the previous week. The agency The Black Label noted, "This is the highest record for a K-pop female artist on the Hot 100 and the first time entering the top five."
"Apartment" debuted at No. 8 on the Hot 100 shortly after its release in October of last year, becoming the first K-pop female artist to enter the top ten. After remaining on the chart but experiencing a downward trend, "Apartment" has now surged back up, allowing Rosé to break her previous record.
"Apartment" also rose 26 spots to reach No. 2 on the U.K. Official Singles Chart Top 100, one of the two major charts worldwide, on the 3rd of this month (local time).
