Actors Hyun Bin and Son Ye-jin donated 300 million won to support the treatment of underprivileged children and adolescents.
On the 6th, according to Hyun Bin's agency VAST Entertainment, the couple donated 150 million won each to Seoul Asan Hospital and Samsung Medical Center.
The couple said, “We feel great gratitude for being able to help someone, and we want to share our hearts, even if just a little,” adding, “Every time I see my child growing up healthy, I can’t help but feel an inexplicable liability when I think of children who are not as fortunate.” They continued, “I hope sick children can return to their innocent selves and illuminate the world with good health.”
The donations will be used for the treatment of patients in difficult circumstances at Asan Medical Center. At Samsung Medical Center, the funds will be utilized as development funds for pediatrics and obstetrics and gynecology, supporting projects in these departments.
