The film "Harbin" (director Woo Min-ho) has surpassed 3 million viewers and is continuing to perform well at the box office.
According to the Korean Film Council's box office information system on the 3rd, "Harbin" attracted 92,864 people on the 2nd and maintained its position at the top of the box office. The cumulative number of viewers is 3,188,623.
Released on Dec. 24 last year, "Harbin" has held the number one spot at the box office for 10 consecutive days. It reached 1 million viewers on the second day of release, 2 million on the fifth day, and surpassed 3 million on the ninth day. This is a faster pace than "Spring in Seoul" (10 days), drawing attention to its final performance.
"Harbin" is a film set in 1909, depicting the tense chase and suspicion between those heading to Harbin for a single purpose and those pursuing them. Hyun Bin plays the role of An Jung-geun.
In second place is "Bogotá: The Land of Last Chances" (director Kim Sung-je), with 25,303 viewers on the same day. The cumulative number of viewers is 219,399. In third place is "The Firefighter" (director Kwak Kyung-taek), which attracted 24,580 viewers that day, with a cumulative audience of 3,422,720.
