Following the Jeju Air passenger plane accident at Muan International Airport in South Jeolla Province on the 29th, condolences continue to pour in from the entertainment industry.
Park Joon-hyung of the group g.o.d expressed on social media, 'It's unbelievably sad and heartbreaking, and I feel very sorry,' and added, 'I ask for a lot of prayers for the victims and their families.'
Broadcaster Kim Na-young also wrote on her YouTube channel community, 'Subscribers, I was deeply shocked today to hear the news of the Jeju Air passenger plane accident,' adding, 'My heart is heavy with the news that so many people tragically lost their lives.' She continued, 'As everyone is going through a difficult time, I want to take a moment to share our hearts together,' and expressed, 'I sincerely wish the deceased rest in peace.' Kim Na-young also postponed the video upload scheduled for that day.
Comedian Lee Young-ja also announced on her YouTube channel community about postponing a video upload, stating, 'I extend my deepest condolences.'
Broadcaster Do Kyung-wan and singer Jang Yoon-jeong, a couple, each wrote on social media, 'Year-end...and the weekend, my heart hurts dearly. I offer my deepest condolences for the deceased,' and 'It's such a deeply heartbreaking accident. I offer my deepest condolences for the deceased.'
Broadcaster Jang Sung-kyu wrote on social media, 'I can't believe it. Hopefully, there will be no more loss of life...' Comedian Jo Se-ho also wrote, 'Hearing the news of the plane accident, my heart feels pained and heavy,' and added, 'I sincerely extend my condolences to the bereaved families and offer my deepest condolences for the deceased.'
On this morning, a passenger plane carrying 181 people collided with the airport outer wall after landing at Muan International Airport in South Jeolla Province. The aircraft involved was a B737-800, carrying a total of 175 passengers, including 173 Koreans and 2 Thais, along with 6 crew members, making a total of 181 aboard. So far, two occupants have been rescued from the rear of the aircraft, while 177 have been confirmed dead.
