While WINNER member Song Min-ho is embroiled in controversy over inadequate service, Seoul Mayor Oh Se-hoon has ordered a full investigation into the status of social service agents.

In a post on Facebook on the 24th, Mayor Oh said, "Recently, a controversy has arisen over a celebrity's neglect of duty while serving as a social service agent," adding, "Most agents diligently fulfill their military duties while protecting the daily lives of citizens in their assigned positions."

He emphasized, "There should never be situations where social deprivation arises, and aversion to military duty increases due to the neglect of duty by a few."

Mayor Oh stated, "As a result, I have instructed an 'urgent full investigation into the status of social service agents' for the Seoul city and its affiliated organizations."

He added, "Based on the investigation results, we will take stern measures and, if necessary, actively suggest improvements to the system to ensure fair military duty to the Military Manpower Administration."

Previously, Song Min-ho, who has been working as a social service agent at a facility in Seoul's Mapo District since March last year, was caught up in controversy over inadequate service. Entertainment media Dispatch reported on the 17th that Song Min-ho is suspected of not performing his duties properly.

Regarding this, Song Min-ho's agency YG Entertainment explained, "It is difficult to confirm the detailed circumstances related to the artist's service," adding, "However, the reason for sick leave is an extension of the treatment received before service, and all other leaves were used in accordance with regulations."
