Actor Lee Jung-hyun, known for roles in dramas such as "Mr. Sunshine," revealed that they applied but were rejected for a new production position at Kia.
On the 23rd, Lee Jung-hyun posted on Instagram, sharing a text message from Kia's hiring personnel with the caption "Rejected Merry Christmas."
Kia's recruitment officer informed Lee Jung-hyun of the initial rejection, saying, "Our Kia representatives had a valuable time reflecting on our past preparations to join Kia through Lee Jung-hyun's application. We hope the time spent participating in our hiring journey was meaningful for Lee Jung-hyun as well."
Previously, on the 5th, Kia announced its 2024 recruitment for engineers (production positions). Anyone with a high school diploma or higher can apply. The recruitment process includes document screening, aptitude and physical tests, and interviews. Work locations include Autoland Gwangmyeong, Hwaseong, and Gwangju. Engineers at Kia are responsible for assembling car parts in the correct order on the automobile assembly conveyor line.
